GUTMANN ALUMINIUM DRAHT offers quality products for the processing industry. Besides the automobile supply industry, our energy-efficient aluminium wires are also used in the commercial vehicle, aviation and food industries, in medical and connection technology and in the electrical and mechanical engineering industries.
Aluminium wire made in Germany
Our modern machinery park keeps a large number of state-of-the-art drawing machines in readiness on an area of about 10000 square metres. Using these, we process sizes from 0.08 up to 25 mm, manufactured from over 40 different aluminium alloys (1000 series, 2000 series, 3000 series, 4000 series, 5000 series, 6000 series and 7000 series). Our product range is divided into mechanical and electrical applications, and into aluminium wire made of naturally hard and hardenable alloys.

To ensure that your materials arrive at their destination quickly and undamaged, we’ve invested in a 6,000-square-metre logistics hall, including a storage area. Depending on your requirements, we customise your shipment accordingly, offering packaging solutions adapted to your needs.

Aluminium oxide is manufactured by breaking down bauxite and further treatment with caustic lye of soda. By applying electrical energy, primary aluminium is produced.
What makes aluminium so special?
Aluminium has a unique beauty. As soon as it bonds with oxygen, an oxide layer forms, giving the material a silvery-grey look. This makes it perfect for use in, for example, architecture. The raw material is also very light, strong, precisely formable, low-maintenance and corrosion resistant. Due to its versatile design possibilities and exceptional durability, this material is likewise very popular in the transport sector, in mechanical engineering and in the iron, steel and electro industry.
